Given that Lubbock's weather is unpredictable, it can be hard to dress to accommodate the weather which can change sporadically throughout the day. Jackie said she doesn't really look at the temperature to dress accordingly and all she needs is a light jacket to wear or carry around if it gets hot.

Even if she only has one class for the day, Jackie still makes an effort to dress up for classes. "It just makes me feel better," she said. "The only time I don't dress up is if I'm sick. If I'm sick, I don't care. Otherwise I try."

Jackie proudly throws her guns up in front of the Will Rogers statue in a white v-neck tee, distressed lightwash boyfriend jeans with the cuffs rolled up, and her black lace up Vans. Completing the look is her grey Tech hat, perfect for showing off her school spirit before game day.
When asked what favorite article of clothing she owns, Jackie said it would have to be her new black thigh high boots because they add spice to her wardrobe.
Jackie maintained a cute and casual look in these staples by adding a twist. Small details like bootie heels or boyfriend jeans instead of the usual skinny jeans are what kept these casual outfits fresh and unique to her style.
